squid2
Currently TFC has no 1st round pick. They traded it to FC Dallas for Serioux. And don't forget that FC Dallas / TFC have a conditional pick revolving around Ibrahim, if he plays 10+ games in 2009 its the 1st rounder; its the 2nd rounder if he plays 9 or less. Hmmmm.... And San Jose has TFC's third round pick as a result of the Nick Garcia trade. But TFC has retained its 4th round pick so far. Big picture, safe to say Mo's not done boys.... TFC does have Colorado's 2nd round pick from their February deal involving then trialist Greg Richardson, he of Joe Public (T&T league) and a member of the Guyanese NT. For those who care and/or follow, the 2010 Draft is in Philly. The 2010 SuperDraft will include 16 teams; 64 players will be selected over 4 rounds; Philadelphia will pick 1st; and Again, the draft is part of the NSCAA convention, Jan 13-17, a good footy weekend. http://www.nscaa.com/annual.php fwiw, Philly is always a well attended convention, very popular, and lots of stuff just happens. It's where Professor got popped for tresspassing 3x. And it was where SW wore his SACKtheCSA shirt through the FieldTurf booth which is where and who Kevan Pipe was representing that very weekend. And then as an aside, there was this little gem with regard to the collective agreement - which is up at season's end. Only three clubs are in favour of re-vamping the cap formula - TFC is one. Allegedly</u> pre-talks are already getting ugly.
MM2
The Ibrahim pick has been confirmed as a second rounder, announced at the same time as the Serioux trade. Adrian Serioux obtained from FC Dallas 2010 1st Rd draft pick and allocation money to Dallas 2010 2nd Rd draft pick to Dallas confirmed for Fuad Ibrahim
jpg75
So TFC has a 2nd rounder from Colorado and it's own 4th rounder. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless there are some top-notch Canadians slated to go in the 1st round.

canucklefan
SuperDraft in MLS is a joke, there are so many good players around the world that I think this whole thing is more or less useful. I don't thing this MLS superDraft will make a better o worse team of TFC.

I don't thing this MLS superDraft will make a better o worse team of TFC. Well, TFC drafted Edu, Frei and Cronin who have all proved useful for TFC... But TFC probably won't have the luxury of three 1st round picks in the future and seeing as Edu spent barely over a year with TFC, I guess you have a point. I'm still crossing my fingers that Gomez will turn into a star defender in the future. Theirs a ton "cheap" talent in Africa that will be left undrafted that TFC can capitalize on. I am 100% certain he will not play for Canada. Anyway everyone was calling O'Brian White Canadian before the draft even though his future us commited to Jamaica
