Joe MacCarthy Posted June 13, 2009 Share Posted June 13, 2009 Over the years of compiling the ol Moaca I have a list (about three times as long) of players who played or trialed in Europe. I tried posting it once (years ago) to see if I could get any response as to identifying where the players were. Sad to report there wasn't much response. I know there are posters here who follow the CIS, VMSL and CSL etc, it would be great if they could help with this. I'm sure there are many on that long list who could still compete at a high level today. It would be nice if we could help identify the whereabouts of members of a potential player pool. Just doing a google for recent news would be a help (it's a big job keeping track of everybody-which is a good sign). Dylan Hughes is at a 3rd Division Greek team. Brillant is with the Impact. Fabian Troche went back to Rampla Jrs. youth program. Lavery should be joining Ipswich this fall. nolando Posted June 13, 2009 Share Posted June 13, 2009 After googling Tony Menezes I found out that he played in Brasil at Porto Alegre FC in 2008 and also was a member of the the Canadian National Arena Soccer, Beach Soccer, and Football Rapido teams that year. Perhaps he is continuing his career even in 2009 as a soccer mercenary for hire. I swear on my life I witnessed Joey Melo play a house league game Thomas Mclean remains at bowling green and I believe he's younger brother chris will be joining him and Shane Lammie has a kid and is rehabilitating his leg from last year.
