BringBackTheBlizzard
I'd agree on the first one being in a position that is tough to defend if well taken (although it wasn't exactly a world class strike, Houston probably noticed that TFC defenders are prone to jumping no matter what when it is in that close and tried to sneak in a low one) but the second one was far enough out that conceding a goal from that range should be a major disappointment. Not 100% sure if it was Jim Brennan who was acting as the bullet man (not using the greatest monitor at the moment but looks like it could be) but whoever it was wimped out of getting in a step or two closer to block the shot and gave the Houston player too much time and space. Also seems to maybe have been overlooked by some that the crosses that led to goal number two and Frei's hockey style kick save both came in from Brennan's wing. Vic
Did anyone watch the replay of Robinson taking the ball in the head? Completely bizarre how he never even saw it coming.
BearcatSA
quote:Originally posted by Ed That Robinson should be under investigation. Something over $300K is grand larceny given his performances the past month of so. Guevara goes from all-world to chump. Cummins poops the bed tactically. Not a good day for TFC. Sounds like Mulroney and Schreiber might be involved;)
