Trillium Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 Ottawa to host 2009 Play Soccer Conference The Ontario Soccer Association announced its 2009 Play Soccer Conference today at a press conference in Ottawa, ON. The 2009 Play Soccer Conference runs 15-19 April in conjunction with the Ontario Soccer Association’s 109th annual general meeting, scheduled to be hosted for the first time by the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association in the nation’s capital. National women’s head coach Carolina Morace and Canadian Soccer Association tecnhical director Stephen Hart will both serve as guest speakers at the coaches conference. FIFA and national referee Carol Anne Chénard, meanwhile, will serve as one of the guest speakers at the youth refereeing symposium. Events at this year’s Play Soccer Conference include the EODSA Clubs AIMS seminar, the district administrators workshops, the coaching conference, the youth referee symposium, the awards banquet, and numerous educational seminars.
