FCH Posted April 4, 2009 Author Share Posted April 4, 2009 It is rather ironic that Union will earn their promotion at the stadium of their fiercest rival BFC Dynamo since they play the home games at the Friedrich Ludwig Jahn Sportpark because of the construction. Their homeground the Alte Foersterei at Wuhlheide used to be one of the most feared places for away fans as you had to walk through a forested area to get to the stadium. Only unity and large numbers could give you some security. It will be intersting to see how much influence the volunteers will be able to preserve afterwards when it comes to maybe renaming the stadium for monetary reasons and other issues regarding the club and the fans.
