CanadasBest
These can be fairly expensive and usually there are other fees like cleaning fees etc. that need to be paid. Take a look at this one in Malibu! Too bad it's a 5 night minimum... http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p229126 Edit: Weird it says minimum 5 nights, but there's a 3 night rate for $1425.00. Lord Bob
I've already got my unusually-swanky-for-me hotel room booked, so I can't get in on any house rental.
CanadasBest
I'm going to be getting a hotel as well. Just not sure where yet.
Winnipeg Fury
6 x 10 flags are allowed, but if its something larger, let me know now, and i will see what i can do. drums are allowed but the sticks are usually an issue
superbrad
Ok boys so we have six confirmed. I'll buy six tic's for now in the front row. If we have last minute people - as previously discussed we'll still bunch up in the same section. Our options are 120, 121 or 122. Let me know. CanadasBest
I think 121 or 122 would be best. Also RiverCity had a good suggestion of setting up an e-mail list to co-ordinate the finer details. If anybody is interested feel free to send me an e-mail to wallace_geoff@hotmail.com.
Lord Bob
Count me as another vote for 121 or 122. (ah, organization! It feels so good! Particularly when other people are doing the organizing!)
superbrad
Hey guys. I went to look for tickets and saw "Gold Cup Partner Offer" for $15/ticket. Winnipeg Fury....any idea if we can get the 'promo' code? Cheers - Brad
Lord Bob
I mentioned it in passing when I spoke to a Ticketmaster agent last week, and what I was told was that was for CONCACAF/USSF buddies. I'm not even sure the CSA would have the promo code or be in a position to share it if they did, but hey, can't hurt to check.
superbrad
Bad news. I just called. I don't know WTF happened but all the endline seats that were available days ago are all booked up. (They told me the entire section was booked and that they had '1' seat in 120 etc). Maybe laid away for support groups? I have no idea. The only options now are the corners or we go to a more expensive section. Let me know what you think.
superbrad
Ok just called back again. The only 'front' row seats available are in 107 at 35 bucks a pop. I'll order if I have your support. Email sent as well.

I think we should get these tickets but what's going to end up happening is that we won't be able to stand because we will be blocking people's views... I'm staying at the Clarion in Carson - http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/htid=4167 I'm down for whatever section. marktci
I had hoped to make it to this one, but it's not going to work out, work-wise. You may want to drop a line to the people at "Canadians Abroad", a group of LA-based Canadian expats who attend events like this to support Canadian teams. A few of us who went down for the first TFC game against Chivas met up with them and they had a tailgate going with free beer. They've got the game on their events calendar. I know this is late notice, but you should be able to meet up with them to create some critical mass. superbrad
Ahh tailgate parties!!! Should we organize our own tailgate party prior to the match? Perfectly acceptable as far as I know. Make it potluck - everyone bring a snack and a six pack (or more)..... River let me know if you get a response from Cdn's Abroad...there are still seats beside and behind us. Personally I'd rather meet up at that bar we were talking about earlier across from the Home Depot Center. We all need to meet up to get the tickets and such. Better to do that at a fixed address since none of us know the area.
