Soro17
^ Gol Mexico. Omar Bravo. Looks like the Mexicans are taking things seriously now - no more home games in the sticks.
Blue and White Army
Nice dive there by Mexico. So nothing's changed in CONCACAF, then...

ottawaguy2009
I'm so glad the States won. I was worried there for a bit. I was unaware that Salvador was such a quality side. They play some good football. I wonder about some of the choices made for the U.S. lineup. Salvador has a certain playing style and I don't think the playing style of the Red/White/Blue really matched theirs well. Hats off to Hejduk for getting that final goal. It was a 2-2 draw. And as for the quality of ES, IMHO, that's what made it criminal that they had a home and away with Panama on the road to 2010. Trust CONCACAF to mess up even the earliest draws. You got me on that one. I knew that. 2-2. I guess what I meant was "I'm so glad they didn't lose". I turned the game off at 1-0 ES to watch another game. I was worried they might lose that game. Still, they are lucky to have pulled out a draw. Donovan was pretty much shut down last night it looked like. Was Cooper on the bench at all do you know? I wouldn't have minded seeing him up front. Who got the first goal?
Guest Ed
^ Cooper was in Dallas for his MLS game the next day (he was never called up). According to an actual report on the game, Hejduk set up Altidore for the 1st and pushed Altidore out of the way to head in the 2nd for the draw.
