Daniel
Except the FSC games. http://www.uslsoccer.com/home/316047.html There's also supposed to be press conferences, highlights, etc. Great move by the league which should help it build its fanbase. PS: Anyone use Neulion's services in the past?
DarnCherry
They are doing what MLS did. Offer free video webcasts and once they catch on in a future season they will begin to charge. This is excellent news.
Bratworst
Awesome.. I saw some feeds last year someone else had picked up and wasn't quite willing to fork out cash for a feed myself, but now I'll catch all the away games!
RS
quote:Originally posted by Daniel PS: Anyone use Neulion's services in the past? TFC uses Neulion for it's video stuff. You can check out the quality for yourself: http://torontofc.neulion.com/tfc/console.jsp (I believe they are actually streaming the TFC at Columbus game live at that address on Saturday, because the game is tape delayed on GOL). Cheeta
Hell, I'm impressed. Alternate media or no, there is some considerable expense involved in this. Good move by USL. Very good move.
Regs
Neulion is pretty much owned by NY Islanders owner Charles Wang (his wife is CEO). They recently (within the last year) merged with Jump TV which does quite a few South America WC qualifying matches (you might remember Jump TV from a few years back when they were based in Toronto and trying to stream regular broadcast TV for free). If you've ever taken a look at the NHL Online Centre Ice stuff, you'll get a feel for how good their system can be. Neulion used to be strictly focused on the IPTV market but in recent times have started to make a very strong push in becoming the leader in sports online media systems. DarnCherry
Great, and it's widescreen again as opposed to MLS match center BS that's not even 4:3.
