Tyson M
My local newspaper in London Ontario is reporting it's a done deal and they don't report any soccer so I doubt this is a rumour. Congrats Van City! Let's get Montreal in NOW!!!

RJB
Let the player restrictions, salary cap, league interventions, and league owned youth players begin! I can't wait! Despite my excitement, I still wonder what $40 million could have done for Canadian soccer, as opposed to American soccer. And to go one further, to pay that money means they don't have much of a right to complain about profits, given that humungous investment comes with an expectation of making lots of money. john tv
We can now have a seperate section for THE WHITECAPS on this board. This is great news and I guess those wonderful crazy TFC fans showed what we are capable of in Canada and now the Whitecaps,it's going to be one huge soccer party from coast to coast. There will be a seperate section for Montreal now though. I'd Vancouver in 2011 will just switch to Toronto FC, Whitecaps and MLS and then Montreal USL1 haha but whatever not important CONGRATULATIONS VANCOUVER!
