masster
I think Bob Mackin is the only journalist along on the trip. He is doing a great job on his blog: http://blog.canoe.ca/van2010?author=374 Here are his videos as well: Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3 - Day 4 - Mason Trafford has also been providing updates on the Province soccer blog: http://communities.canada.com/theprovince/blogs/backofthenet/default.aspx
Blue and White Army
The Whitecaps must be subsidizing Mackin's trip, as 24 Hours laid off a good chunk of their reporters last week.
youllneverwalkalone
Good to hear Chin is trialing with the Caps. I wonder if they'll scoop up a couple more kids for the academy whilst they're there.

My guess is that he probably funded his own way (fans were able to go if they would have paid for themselves). Mackin is a huge soccer guy so I wouldn't be too surprised. Vancouversoccerman
Still excellent. I'm glad there are folks documenting this trip. It's an interesting piece of Whitecaps history to watch.
