tmcmurph
http://www.arenaleague.com/home/311906.html Edmonton Wins CMISL Canadian Division Championship The Edmonton Drillers had the best record and a 4-0 record against the Calgary United, but they had to prove themselves one more time. Edmonton met that challenge and pulled out a gut-wrenching 7-6 win in overtime. All five of the Drillers wins over Calgary were by one goal and three of the games were decided in sudden death. Edmonton will now represent the CMISL as the third seed in the PASL-Pro Championship Weekend in Stockton. Their first playoff game will be Friday, March 13 at 5:00pm against La Cabana from the Baja Division champion from LMFR. ------------------------------- Well I'll hand it to the boys up north they had our number all year and it is fitting that they represent the CMISL. I missed this one due to work (that other 4 letter word). It sounds very typical of Edmonton vs Calgary this year. Very close games between very well matched teams that Edmonton find a way to win.
