tmcmurph
A 3 man D ? With Velez in the middle? Please play that formation when you face the Caps in the Voyageurs Cup
TheKottonmouthed1555362307
yea no kidding I'd love to seem them play 3 man d form against the Caps lol. Carver has been toking on the BC bluff it seems as if he goes with 3 defenders and Velez beign the mainstay its gonna be a long 3rd season in the MLS for TFC. Too many suspects at CB right now, not enough prospects. Have you heard of any rumoured CB signings (Kenton looks to be a fullback)?
TheKottonmouthed1555362307
No way kenton can survive as a Centre back he is too small. and now way can we have 3 man D and have Brennan and Wynne on the sides they will be forced to play as Centre backs almost all the time and both aren't big enough to be doing that. As of now there is NO WAY we go with a 3 man D you gotta get a few more CB on the team or we are going forward with. RB-Wynne,Kenton CB-Velez,Harmse CB-Attakora,?Robinson? LB-Brennan,Gala I'd say we should eb loking at trading someone for a CB. Maybe go after Serioux.
tmcmurph
RB-Wynne,Kenton CB-Velez,Harmse CB-Attakora,?Robinson? LB-Brennan,Gala Wynne at RB. He has the speed and running hip check to hold down that side. Harmse at CB. Say what you want about his card problems he is the better of those 2 by far. Attakora at CB. Keep Robinson up maybe play a 4-1-xx-xx so he can sit in front of the 4 defenders and help out both ways. Brennan at LB but don't be afraid to sub in Gala. ag futbol
Say what they will, but Marshall was our best defender last year. Harmse looked better at CB than as a central mid, but not someone i want to feature along with Velez. We need one top notch defender right now to partner with anyone of Harmse, Valez, or Nana. None of those three should ever be paired together as a first choice. Personally, given the roster we have right now, I think a 3-5-2 or a (3-2-3-2) is the best option. Assuming Cronin is up to the task of playing the other DM role next to Robinson. I'd be more confortable with that than a flat back four with a sum of disapointing parts. It would also allow someone like Dero or Amado to play a free role in the mid which is badly needed imo as this team does nothing but pound the flanks and the oppposition knows it. I also don't believe much in the ability of any of our offensive minded mids to get back and cover on the overlapping by the wing backs in a 4-4-2. So better off to peg them where they are and everyone knows where they stand. We'd be gaining more going forward than we'd be losing at the back. Sorely needed at this time in my opinion. ----------Barrett--------------- -------------------Vitti-------- Rickets-----Guevarra--------Dero ------Cronin--------Robinson---- --Brennan----New guy-------Wynn-- ----------Sutton----------------- Of course I doubt Carver has it in him to play anything but a 4-4-2. That doesn't look half bad mind you we would need one hell of a CB to sustain threats no point in having a squad that can score if we let 3-4 goals in every game. I'm just not sure if Carver and Mo has the asstets or ability to get that key CB who could man a 3 person back end.
