in the first of 2 50 minute Preseason games TFC knocked off New York Red Bulls with a score of 2-1

Pablo Vitti netted his first goal in his first game as a member of TFC; Barret added the the other.

Toronto defender Marvell Wynne saw his first action of preseason after missing previous games because he was part of the United States squad for World Cup Qualifying.

Three trialists started the game for Toronto; English defender Darren Kenton, and midfielders Michael McGlinchey and Amadou Sanyang.

Former Reds defender Kevin Goldthwaite was in the Red Bulls team but another ex Toronto player Andrew Boyens missed the match due to injury.

I like seeing Brennan in the CB spot he has some size and has some CB expierence a some level. Amadou Sanyang and Michael McGlinchey would be great additions to this squad if they stick.

yea you may be right I want to see Attakora earn a spot as a starting CB but I ain't sold on Velez although he is quite useful off of Corners I think he ahd two nice goals from of of corner kicks.

I don;t want to see Kenton in the middle like some have said the guy is way too small to playing in the middle.

Brennan isn't that great in the air which is why he would lakc at the Centre back position thats understandable and he has an alright cross so I think he'll find his spot at the LB spot most the year.

I'm not cofindent in Harmse at CB either. we need to go out and get another CB.
