The good news is we're aging and we have great young players pushing our 'veterans'. The real cash-in from this is four years from now when we actually don't have a lost generation, and there are two different levels of layering going on in pushing the performance level.

Great to see Kelly Parker and Mel Booth back on the field. And kudos to Richard Scott for the great job on adding clubs in.

I would hope that there will be some players we have never seen or only briefly seen involved with the current setup come into the program. I would throw some of the above out immediately.

^ Considering she was only officially brought on board yesterday, clearly this roster was put together by someone other than Morace.

Nonetheless, this seems like a good starting point. Those who cant cut the mustard might not see another camp

I'm a huge Nonen fan. And not just the pace but the intelligence and character.

At least a few other names gone by the wayside... Dennis, Thorlakson, Swiatek, Gayle, Hermus come to mind at a fast glance. Maranda played for the Carabines in the CIS this year.

Did Morace attend the Olympics or the under 17 and under 20 World Championships? She may know more about the players than we think.

She definitely attended the U17 WC. She was a FIFA Ambassador

not sure how much of the Canadian team she was able to see

Paolo Pacione was the strength and conditioning coach on the U17 so he can help fill in some knowledge gaps with that age group

Get Latham back as a defender, not a big Nonen fan here. Whatever became of Veronique Maranda on the NT scene?

Who's missing? McLeod, Jamani, Cicchini etc.

what happened to Jamani?

Even though she was young I believe Swiatek retired. Possibly Hermus as well as she's been around a while.

Rhian Wilkinson said about the first day in camp "The session was a quieter one than we are used to and very technical. There is no doubt this new approach will take a few days to get used to, but I liked it." I liked the optimism of saying a few days, I think it may take longer.

You have to wonder about all the unattached players.. they are not playing club ball in there home citys ?

I still would like little more recognition to the developing clubs for these players.... but maybe its to hard to have full backgrounds ?
