Leon_Araiza
Hello from Torreón, México. Congratulations for your win last night over my team, Santos-Laguna and by the way, Atlante is more popular than Santos-Laguna because they're one of the oldest clubs in this country but unfortunetly they have lost entire generations of fans and the new ones went with other teams from the capital, Mexico City, where clubs like América, Cruz Azul and Pumas UNAM(National University) play, in that order of popular they are but in the north side of Mexico there currently are only 4 teams from 18 in primera división but a year before only three and in two cities, Monterrey with a couple and Torreón where Santos Laguna plays in a regio known as "La Laguna" or "Comarca Lagunera", something like "the lagoon or the lagoon's shire" that locates between two norther states, Coahuila and Durango and is this team, Santos-Laguna the most popular team in the whole north, even more than those two team from the third major city in the country that is Monterrey(3.7 million) and this is because Santos popularity among about northern 5 states that plus Torreon(1.2 million) stands in the last count with 1.5 million fanatics making it the 7th most popular team in Mexico just near sixth place, Atlante. Once again, congrats for this canadian victory that represents a big step in order to make it to next worl cup and maybe why not, the Clubs worl cup.
