Canuck Oranje
Not likely to get a lot of play in the international press, but I thought I would post anyway because of its seriousness. A small club, Brasil de Pelotas, in the Brazilian State of Rio Grande do Sul faced tragedy this past Thursday night (January 15) when the bus they were in crashed over a 40-50 metre embankment. Three were killed and 10 more injured. The dead include two players and the goalkeeper coach. Three more have been seriously injured and had to have emergency surgery. Brasil de Pelotas played in Serie C in 2008 and made it to the final phase but failed to promote. http://www.futebolinterior.com.br/news.php?id_news=68830
