Guest Jeffery S.
Out on Wednesday, we are up three spots and are 7th in Concacaf. Turns out we had the 2nd, 3rd, 7th and 8th ranked regional teams in our semi final group, half of the top 8. http://es.fifa.com/worldfootball/ranking/lastranking/gender=m/fullranking.html#confederation=23914&rank=
jpg75
Wow, it's amazing what winning a game in WCQ does to your ranking. Cuba shot up 25 spots this month thanks to their win over Guatemala and now sit 5th in CONCACAF <shakes head>. Well, atleast they won a game i guess.... Ah, but in CONCACAF's infinite wisdom, last November's draw featured FIFA's May rankings. Our group included the 1st, 4th, 7th and 11th-ranked nations from our region - at least on paper. Anyone want to guess which team was ranked 11th?[}] Looking ahead to the 2014 WCQ draw, I think we're going to get screwed again. Unless we play enough games to boost our ranking continuously into the top six of CONCACAF, we will be placed in Pot C again, resulting in us playing in another Group of Death come the summer of 2012. bettermirror
we deserve nothing less than a group of death if we don't play and WIN matches.

Of course, but you have to lobby for your best interests. They don't because Warner easily buys off the CSA with perks like the U-20 WC, which makes the suits happy, very happy. They are then clued out when it comes to demanding a criteria that could benefit Canada's chances, because they just don't know what they are doing.
