SCF08
Brandon Bonifacio wasnt dressed for Cambuur Leeuwarden today against Top Oss. It seems that all the new signings have set Bonifacio a bit further down the pecking order. He's only made 1 appearance so far this season. Cambuur have notched up 5 wins in a row and are pushing for promotion (4th place). They've hired a new manager as well 2 months ago in Stanley Menzo who won the title last year with Volendam. Lierse is 5th and makes a good operation in the run for the 2nd place, as Sint-Truiden if far away 1st.
Start fan in exile
Ademolu missed Løv-Ham's final game of the season with an injury as they defeat Alta 3-0. Løv-Ham finish in 12th with 34 points (9-7-14) from 30 games. Odd, Sandefjord and Start take the top 3 and are promoted to Tippeligaen; Sandnes Ulf and Hødd are at the bottom and are relegated. Sogndal are 4th and will play a playoff against the Tippeliga no. 13 for a spot. Final round in Tippeligaen on Sunday at 6 pm CET.
SCF08
Roda JC - Feyenoord 0-1 Georginio Wijnaldum 0-2 Leroy Fer 0-3 Roy Makaay 0-4 Diego Biseswar Marcel de Jong plays 90 minutes for Roda JC. Marcel had an extremely tough afternoon defending 17 year old superkid Georginio Wijnaldum who got himself a goal and 2 assists. Marcel didnt look to good as well at the first goal...it was a good cross by Van Bronckhorst but Wijnaldum got up much higher than Marcel who barely left the ground. If I can find a video somewhere of the 1st goal I'll post it. EDIT : Highlights can be found here... http://video.eredivisielive.nl/vod.php
JoeSoccerFan
This isn't really abroad, but worth mentioning: Houston 1 - 1 New York DeRo goes 83 with several scoring chances. Onstad puts in his usual 90 and makes a few big saves. Chivas USA 0 - 1 Real Salt Lake Will Johnson goes 90 in Real's first ever playoff appearance (Movsysian with a cute little side-heel to win in in the 90th minute)
VPjr
here's the weekly Roberto Stillo update: The Genoa U18s played a great game today against 1st place Monza @ home. Genoa earned a big win, taking the match by a score of a 2-1. Monza scored its only goal in the 86th minute off a free kick that was deflected. Robert was solid all game, dominating all crosses that came into his box and made 2 key low ball saves. Training with 1st team all week has definitely helped his progress. Genoa U18s are currently in 2nd place.
tarnado1555362291
Julian De Guzman starting for Deportivo as they visit Real Betis. Substituted in the 8th minute as he apparently hurt his leg. 0-0 at half time.
Guest Jeffery S.
quote:Originally posted by tarnado Julian De Guzman starting for Deportivo as they visit Real Betis. Substituted in the 8th minute as he apparently hurt his leg. 0-0 at half time. Depor win 0-3 on three 2nd half goals, Julian was injured tackling Nelson m. 5, who had just had a scoring chance, and limped off m. 7 for Sergio. Club Bruges won 4-1 over Courtrai on Saturday to go top in Belgium, Michael Klukowski going the whole way. His solid form for us seems to be there for his club as well. Fernando Aguiar seems to be helping his side since re-signing with Gondomar, who beat Gil Vicente 3-0 for their first win of the season, Aguiar goes 90 and gets a late card. I see that livescore has finally decided to include Portugal 2nd tier results, called Liga Vitalis. Think this is the first week I've seen that. Footscray
No Edgar on the bench for Newcastle at home to Villa today. Definitely looks like his future may lay elsewhere if Kinnear stays at the helm.
canucklefan
Yes, the fact is some defenders are in the same group of age of Edgar, Steven Taylor (22), Jose Enrique Sanchez (22), Sébastien Bassong (22) they are on the starting line-up or on the bench and Edgar isn't even on the bench. Footscray
He's kind of in that no mans land where they seem unwilling to lend him out as they want the cover but he can't get a regular game there either. I hope he heads out to a solid championship team on loan during the next window where he can get a few games under a setup with some stability because the magpies are just sad sack all around this year. VPjr
Andrew Ornoch potted another two goals for the Esbjerg fB reserves as they earned a 3-3 tie against their opponents (not sure who they played). He now has 7 goals for the Reserves in just 4 games (2nd in Reserve league scoring behind a player from another club who has 9 goals in 12 games) hopefully the Esbjerg 1st team coach sees fit to give Andrew an opportunity to get more playing time with the 1st team as they are struggling to score goals and are solidly in last place in the table. Maybe he can help contribute to a badly needed turnaround in fortunes.

Keegan
Impressive for Saiko. Around the same age Edgar was when he started playing reserves. I see he has started all 5 matches he has appeared in for the reserves. Straight off the academy into a starting reserve role.

I was suprized to hear he was playing out of place.
