Johnnyranger
Delta is a suburb of Vancouver, and part of the GVA. Bill, you are a schmuck. It would take you approximately 30 minutes in average traffic to drive from John Oliver Park to Swangard and add 10-20 minutes to go to the Mythical Downtown stadium if it ever gets built. JO Park is right off the Highway 91 at the interchange where the 91 meets the 99 on the Southside of the Fraser River at the Surrey/Delta border... bettermirror
I hate this only because I never ever played a good game at that park!!! Why exactly establish this in Delta I wonder? Can someone enlighten me? What happened with the SFU set-up? In regards to Delta, have the Caps worked to sort-out who can play in the VMSL with the Delta Whitecaps?? Johnnie Monster
The Caps have 28 youth teams, plus a PCSL squad, a PDL squad, and the men's and women's first teams. The article indicates the men will go to Delta to train. I'm guessing the women and the PDL residency will remain at SFU? The rest will be divvied up. analyst
i've heard that Leonard Bobaduzzi is still planning on talking to a couple other municipalities, so they may not have a deal with Delta after all or perhaps they are having discussions with other cities to try to get more favourable terms from Delta. Does anyone else have more info?
