Richard
Pitch seems to be holding up OK, some serious divets but still reasonably playable.

gator
^ Nothing wrong with that, I know I'm a Habs fan in Ontario, there's a good rivalry between the cities, and due to the Voyageurs Cup another chapter has been added!
loyola
I came back home and watched the final 10 min. Tough conditions out there. Congrats to the Impact for this excellent result!!! It will be interesting to see where they gonna play that February or March game in MTL. I'm very impress with MTL, they are a nice story for canadian soccer fans! tmcmurph
Well done Montreal. Wish it was my Caps but we got the USL-1 championship and you guys are still rocking the CL. Keep it rolling all the way to Club World Cup!
the biologist
About the Big O for the game in february, JL stated on CKAC Sports 730 AM this morning: "C'est très très probable qu'on joue au Stade Olympique. On n'a pas d'autres solutions. Nous devons tout faire pour jouer là." In english: "It's very, very probable that we're gonna play at the Big O. We don't have any other solutions. We must do everything we can in order to play there." I think they're gonna find a way to push back the beginning of the roof-changing process. MTLcanada514
YESSSSSSS WHATA GAME! Credit to the ultras who were in good voice on again, those last 20 mins or so were really intense!!! Props to the people who weren't afraid of getting a little wet or cold. Now as i read on tsn.ca the questions begin...where to play, where to train with such a big layoff, which players will/won't be back (hopefully not many won't), but that makes for an interesting 4 months coming up. MONTREAL ALLEZZZ ALLEZZZZZ!!!

MONTREAL ALLEZZZ ALLEZZZZZ!!! Ah to have such problems to deal with! I can think of 2 other teams in Canada that would love to have those issues to deal with. Keep it going guys. This will be interesting to see how far the Impact can go. Being the first they will set the bar very high for those who follow in the years to come. Cheeta
1st half left a lot to be desired. Very tepid, and more than a bit disjointed by the Impact but the 2nd half just flew by. What a first few minutes. Not Montreal's best game of the tourney by a long shot but a solid enough effort to get the job done. Didn't think the crowd was that bad actually, especially considering the weather. 5,000 ish? Can't help but feel the semi's might be as far as the Impact go though. Late winter venue isn't the only issue facing those lads. That's a loooong time between competitive matches to keep the rust off.
