Vic
I've seen a lot of things in this game, but I have NEVER seen 8 coaches on a bench. Everytime they go past the shelters, you see Eriksson and his two assistants and 8 people shoulder to shoulder on the Canadian side. Hey, even coaching is done by committee! The Beaver
Not being sensitive. This is the guy's last meaningful match for us, he scored, and he is playing his ass off. Our guys are scrapping it out, and deserve more respect for it. And yes, I am in a bad mood.

Not if we're sorta vague on that whole St. John's/Saint John thing. That'll thin the numbers by half, anyway.

jonovision
Radzinski was a magician tonight. If he could have scored that breakaway, I would have been the happiest guy in the world, at least for one night.
RS
Wow. If I wasn't thoroughly beaten down from this qualifying campaign, I think I would have enjoyed watching this game a lot more. Exciting, end-to-end action. Where the fuck was this team before?
Wilfrid Laurier
quote:Originally posted by sstackho Ridiculous. [)] Did you hear him call the Mexican goal scorer? Absolutely disgraceful. The Beaver
all i'm saying, we should have beat jamaica in TO. good fight tonight. proud of our lads. this was not our first team and they fought hard. Cannot question their heart. Skill? Coaching? Let's leave all of that for another day.

I guess our problem earlier in the campaign is we were playing with de Guzman and De Rosario in midfield, instead of Kevin Harmse and Chris Pozniak. What was Mitchell thinking? Melpomenus
Great game. The pressure we put on Mexico in the second half gave me hope for the future. Allez les Rouges!
Guest Soccrman
Overall, a much better performance and well worth a point. I think we would have taken it if offered a month ago!! Now, have to wonder why this effort wasn't there in earlier games!! Big discussion I think.
shaku_bert
radz was the man of the match. And yes he'll be old for 2014 but there is no reason to ignore him unless he plans on retiring before GC
Keegan
Great match! Towards the end our boys REALLY pushed. Stalteri was fantastic at the end, stopping Guardado tracking back going forward, great game would have been quite the goal too Radzinski FANTASTIC Gerba good Bernier was very good also Harmse was even good! DONT GO RADZINSKI STAY FOR THE GOLD CUP!
loyola
Am I alone who was impress by Harmse (except for the foul in the end)? I thought he was quite good in midfield. Bernier's ball to Radz was magic. Really good game. I applaud the players for their effort tonight, that was a good game to watch!
