Vic
Nice find. Klepp does okay in league with hardly any national players. Like many places in Norway on the coast it's a bit isolated and it's almost as easy to ferry in from Denmark as fly into the small airport. Looks like part of her deal is also doing goalkeeper coaching for their U16 team. The other keeper on the women's team is 16 and was just called to youth national camp. Also interesting is the team has four trainers, of which two are goalkeeper coaches. All round sounds like a great gig. Klepp at 15,000 is 15km from the city of Stavanger (125,000) which is Norway's Oil & Gas capital. Fulham's 6'7" captain Brede Hangeland comes from Stavanger and Canadian Cleve Kinley from Surrey and four Americans play hockey for the Stavanger Oilers. Hope she has people sending her care packages - of the millions of cities on the planet, Stavanger has the highest cost of living. Housing is very expensive and a can of soda is $3 and a beer out is over $10. http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/rankings_current.jsp
