Off the top of my head, two former Whitecaps players, one of whom plays on the Irish National Team I believe, and two who played at UVic. If I heard correctly, they are playing in the Toppserien in Norway, 1st Division Sweden, 3F League in Denmark (top league) and in the Women's Premiership in England. Ciara McCormack, Erin Ramsay, Mariel Solsberg and Liz Hansen. Mariel plays for Fortuna Hjorring, one of the top teams in Denmark, and Liz Hansen last I heard was playing for the Doncaster Belles. McCormack declared and got her first cap for Ireland two weeks ago against the USA, and Ramsay played in the Damallsvenskan last Fall/Spring but it doesn't look like she's playing anywhere now. Dandal Posted October 10, 2008 Share Posted October 10, 2008 Erin Ramsay is playing in the Swedish 2nd tier this year, for the same club she played with in the 1st tier (Damallsvenskan) last season, Falköpings KIK. Another Canadian in the Swedish 2nd level is goalkeeper Jess Hussey, Mallbacken. Hussey played for a 3rd level team 2007, recieved some recognition and moved up a level. McLeod did not tryout for the Freedom. And yes, Nicci Wright has been with them since way back in their build up.
