USL Division 1 playoffs

The season ends on Sunday and there are still some possible changes to come as well as the 7th playoff spot up for grabs but here are the possible playoff matchups as they stand today:

Puerto Rico bye

Vancouver (2nd) vs Minnesota (7th)

Montreal (3rd) vs Seattle (6th)[xx(]

Rochester (4th) vs Charleston (5th)

Notes:

-Minnesota has not cliched a playoff spot yet. Atlanta or Carolina could take 7th spot. If Minnesota beat Montreal on Saturday they are in regardless of what happens with the other two teams.

-Miami and Portland are eliminated from the playoffs.

-Rochester, Charleston and Seattle can pass Montreal with victories combined with Montreal losses to Minnesota and PR.

-Vancouver and Puerto Rico will finish in the top 2 spots regardless of what happens elsewhere. The only thing that remains is which one finishes on top and gets the bye.

He's forgetting nothing of the sort.

The town that calls itself "Soccer City USA" has had sweet bugger all in terms of pro soccer championships. The clock started when Portland's first pro team, the NASL Timbers, first took the pitch. The clock stops when a team from Portland - any bloody team - actually puts something in the trophy case.

"33 years, F- all" is 100% accurate.

Christine Sinclair's Pilots, I guess that was enough for them.
