Daniel
We saw it after SVG, and now even more: there's a whole slew of Montreal people joining this board. It sometimes seemed like there were only 3-4 of us from Montreal on this board, with 2-3 more from elsewhere in Quebec. So new Montreal Voyageurs, old and young, welcome aboard. PS: Where ya been? Cheeta
No ****. As poorly as things have gone on the field so far off the field we're cleaning up. Membership is climbing from all across the country but certainly Montreal and regions are stepping aboard in the strongest fashion. And it isn't just with the increased membership where we're performing off-field. Hell, I'd say that's a direct consequence of the success of the Vs and friends with match organization and game day events.
MastaK
It's simply a matter of registration for me. Before I was just reading, so I didn't need to register.

MTLcanada514
I had only heard vaguely about you guys and never really checked for any website despite being a HUGE soccer fan, and after being on the roadtrip to Toronto with some of the Ultras to see the Impact-TFC game well thats when i decided how fun it was to be a hardcore fan and that the rest of the country needs more people like you guys!! For example, to show u my frustration, last nigth the Impact played a huge game standings-wise, and RDS (the french sportscentre from montreal) talk about Monday night football, Brett Favre and the Us Open BEFORE even getting to the game for which they showed only a quick segment. In any case ill stop ranting GO CANADA!!!

SteveBeau
I was at the SVG game and loved it....But at the Honduras game i was in section 201 with my girlfriend surrounded by a sea of hondurans, when i was walking towards my seats there were all these little "gangster type latino guys" ( not said in a racist way but that is what they looked like!!)who were all trying to intimidate us with there bad looks and mocking grins and you know what we said great THEM!!! and screamed our asses off with the 2 other Canada supporters in our section!!We got beer thrown at us after the 2nd Honduras goal but we continued screaming (my voice just started coming back today!) Next time i go to a CMNT game i'll definitely be standing with you guys!!
Christian B.
I've been a reader from day 1 but I rarely post. This is my number 1 source of information concerning the MNT.

marktci
... is the extra hour to drown your sorrows, post-game. But yeah, more Montreal-based V's is good too.
MtlCanuck
I've been following the MNT for years, but believe it or not I first heard about you guys after the SVG game. I was sitting in the "regular" seats with my friends at the Jamaica and Honduras games because they tought it would be too intense to join the Vs. For Jamaica it was fine, but for Honduras... boy did we regret it. BTW: Is there a designated bar/pub in Montreal that we could call home for MNT games? It would be fun to be able to come together for games we can't travel to.(Whenever permitting of course, I have a young family at home)And who knows what kind of buzz we could generate with word of mouth!! A few of us are getting together back at McLeans for the Mexico match, but I don't think it's "home". Maybe we may eventually pick one though. My story's kinda similar to yours. I've been following the CMNT for maybe 10 years or so, very short compared to most, but didn't really know if there was a following, until I actually saw it from my "normal seats" at the SVG. After the game I went the canadasoccer website and saw no forum, and I thought "well there's got to be somewhere these people organize.." and googled it. Glad I did. I guess I should add that maybe it'd be a good idea to push to have a link on the canadasoccer site. There is no forum there, and this is basically where fans come to organize and discuss. Tyson M
Another good thing about playing in MTL... IT'S A BETTER CITY THAN TORONTO!!! Although I have to drive an extra 6 hours to get to matches it is so worth it! Montreal is the best city in Canada and if only we could build more support I wish all the games were played there!
