superbrad
Just so you know.... I have been bringing a Canada flag to MNT matches for several years and it has never seen a loss. Now I'm not a huge traveller however since it first attended a game vs. Australia in 1993 it's record is 8 wins and 4 draws - no losses. I had it at the Toronto game. It's covered in red/white makeup, beer and rum and coke stains that are permanently on the flag. I couldn't make Montreal however I should have thought of sending the flag. I'm willing to send it to any future matches as long as I get it back. I don't know if the luck is associated with me being with it - but my buddy Lee was carrying it in Toronto and we didn't lose. Since its rally cap time - anyone willing to carry it in to action I'd gladly ship 'er out. I will be bringing it to Edmonton. Sorry I lost the game for us. Juby
don't beat yourself up, I've always been 'accumulatively superstitious' about fan support edit: that looks mean to the v's, I always thought it was vs there 'AS', now I'm just rambling
Daniel
Speaking of, I've officially retired my 2001-2002 jersey. Too much bad karma. It's V's t-shirt from here on, until there's a worthwhile jersey.
Melpomenus
I wanted to record on camera the corner kick in the fourth minute, but I said to myself better not, maybe we score. And we did. I tried to tape all the Honduran opportunities and none of ours. Didn't work...

Sam
Everytime I've worn my white Canada kit we've won. But when I haven't we've never won. I wore my sack the CSA shirt to Costa Rica @ BMO and my Voyageurs Shirt on Saturday.
JamboAl
This is an excellent thread; thanks for starting this superbrad. I'm going to retire my Canadian top from 2001-02 as well. It has seen little or no success and is ill fitting anyways.
superbrad
^Yes I noticed. (Just kidding - I had to squeeze into my 1993 jersey - consider it retired). I'm wearing the t-shirt next time, (it's extra large).

Super Flag is now 8 wins - 5 draws no losses. Next important game I'm sending this baby out if I can't make it... Honduras was still my fault - sorry. Guest speedmonk42
Ok, I told people that everytime I wear my Canada jersey, we lose. People told me. no no no no no, wear your jersey. Well, Daniel, it too is now officially retired. We need our own superstition, ritual... something crazy. Burning a plastic beaver with some kind of ritual dance?
