Not sure that I'd describe "less than two seasons" as being in the MLS a long time (re: Carver's comments about Harmse) but I suppose it is an eternity in the league in comparison to many of the TFC players that will see the field on Saturday.

Carver is hopeful of adding two players to the squad for this weekend's game. Vancouver Whitecaps defender Diaz Kambere and former New York Red Bulls defender Tim Regan may be added to the roster. Regan is currently a scout for Toronto FC.

What's next, Mo suiting up?

We are pushing for the title and we loan one of our players to TFC? We already play Friday and Sunday, and now he is going to play Saturday too? WTF?

If I were a Caps fan this would really piss me off. Does he start for ou guys?

Kambere has made nine appearances for the Whitecaps, including eight starts, in the 2008 USL-1 campaign for total of 683 minutes. This is his third season with the Whitecaps.

Wasn't he the guy we picked up in the expansion draft?

He was. I watched quite a few of Chivas's games through online webstreams in the 2006 season and he didn't look that bad although he was never going to be mistaken for Franz Beckenbauer or Franco Baresi. If he's close to match fit he might wind up doing the job better than Julius James has been doing of late.

Well TFC owes a big thank you to the Whitecaps for this. I think this is simply to replace what would have been Tyler Hemming's spot at right back for this game. My recollection of Diaz-Kambere from the Olympic qualifiers was that he was quick, marked decently but made a lot of inaccurate passes. Hopefully he's worked on that aspect of his game.

'Caps fans...what do you think of Kambere?

He's fast as hell, but he doesn't have any footballing sense about him. He makes Lyle Martin seem like a pretty cultured fullback, which is scary as hell. Having said this, Dasovic seems to love the guy. He gave him at least two Olympic qualifying starts. Maybe he can see something in him?

You opened your post with it. FAST AS HELL. You either have speed or you don't. You need it at the international level.

no see thats just ridiclous when your scout is suiting up to play in a game when there is a league full of players from canada "csl" and there are 3 teams in the usl from Canada that play good soccer,

when your scout is suiting up for a game you know there is sum serious problems with the team firstly,

he should be at colleges in canada scouting players and giving suggestions to coaches of canada how to develop they players to an american standard style of play.

I have received stuff from friends who had lived in canada that play in university in the states that show me there preseason schedule of what they're standard running is and what you schould be doing in what time and stuff and colleges in canada dont really have that same standards
