The question is whether the police/security will do something to prevent problems or just wait until they happen and then lay in. Most potential problems can be avoided with good planning.

S.

The FIFA match agent is in charge not the police or CSA or local security he / she is to call the shots and determine what actions are to be taken, hopefully he is up to the task it will most likely be someone from Trinidad, but CONCACAF and FIFA are noted for not naming who it will be in advance.

Just a comment the pat downs here in Honduras are pretty common you get done at banks and games, spread your legs wide arms out..and they run there hands up and down. They are more professional then at BMO where I had security debating if my camera lenses were too big to be allowed in... hilarous.

im not ashamed...im just pissed that the MLS and USL are doing nothing about this scedule conflict. Secondly, im an Impact fan. And ill have to say that the WCQ game of our national team comes first.

But it looks like im a part of the minority.

In Europe there are no league games during the whole week when it comes about the national team. It comes from a tradition that doesn't exist here unfortunately. Here you got a money machine called MLS or NHL or MLB or NBA. That's why one of 100 Blue Jays' seasonal games becomes more important that one out of 6-8 MNT soccer games for some...

Did I understand correctly that the Honduran population in Montreal is 120 thousand?

That would be at odds with the 2006 census which would indicate a population of roughly 2,600 in the Montreal CMA who consider their background to be Honduran.

Man, great the CSA... I truly don't believe this. They've clearly sold far more tickets to Honduran supporters than to Canadians. And I thought the Jamaica game was bad...

Let's not get our knickers in a twist yet. There's no proof that the Hondurans have been sold far more tickets. Our support will be there. Let's see what happens.

And the Jamaica game wasn't bad at all. You should have been at the games at Varsity Stadium back in the day. I doubt it was ever more than 50/50 even back then but it felt worse because we were always out-cheered.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I just got off the phone with my friend who works at a restaurant on st. lawrence said he served and spoke with several honduran supporters and they said over 2,000 made the trip from BOSTON alone. The honduran supporters then went on to say that Honduran fans will out number us 3-1.WE shall just see about that.Take it with a grain of salt...

114,117,217 together we will concur all...

allez les rouges!

In a way I wish I had been to those games because I guess I'd have a sense of perspective and wouldn't be so surprised by how it is now. Thing is that I'm 19 now, so I didn't have any money back then to go... :(
