Daniel
So the Impact have seemingly completed their roster for the season. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Impact#2008_Roster 26 players - 13 Canadians (50%) - 6 Americans* (23%) - 2 Antiguans (8%) - 1 Brazilian (4%) - 1 Argentinian (4%) - 1 Panamanian (4%) - 1 Italian (4%) - 1 Argentinian (4%) - 1 Frenchman (4%) *these players count as non-foreign in USL. I also counted Pato Aguilera as an American, as he holds citizenship.
Lorne
I think that I read on the USL web site yesterday that 26 is the maximum number of players of whom a maximum of 8 can be foreign. A total of 18 players including 5 foreign players can dress for each match. Since the new recruits Gregory and Beyers both dressed on Sunday di Lorenzo didnt make the squad. But, if Aguilera is not foreign I wonder why he doesnt seem to dress for more games.
Cheeta
Don't Canadian and American players both count as domestics (ie non-foreign)? By the way quite a good sized roster with a fair amount of quality and one which has and will serve Montreal in good stead during this crazy month and next.
