gianga
Here's a link of a perfect image of saputo stadium. Feel free to use paint or photoshop to make a tifo of what we should do at the game. grigorio
I think we're all sitting in the South End which you can't see in this photo. This would work a little better http://www.mlambertphoto.com/saputoblog/stade_saputo_01.jpg But ideally we find one thats looking towards the south side. Keegan
RPB are probably gonna have that giant banner (120 ft) that was in the south end vs. Jamaica
Razcle
RPB will not be coming as a group as far as I know. TFC is playing Chivas at home and RPB are TFC supporters, not Canada Supporters (at least not first hand). From experience I know there are lots of RBP's that could give a rats A$$ about CMNT. Unless you know something that I don't, they will be mixing in with the V's

Lol...thanks for the reply. I don't think many people doubted that there would be plenty of RPB's that ARE</u> CMNT supporters. And the $1500 for the banner, if I am not mistaken came from the extra money they pooled from ticket sales, not from the RPB other pools of money. I should know since I contributed a good chunk towards it in ticket purchases. I just wanted to make it clear to some of the V's that RPB supports TFC first and formost and supporting TFC does not translate into supporting CMNT for all members. There was lots of fuss on the boards about RPB overly putting efforts into CMNT as many members support other national teams. With that out of the way. We can always use as much help and support as we can get. As it is clear to me that TFC supporters groups have a fantastic base in bringing the atmosphere to all home games....and making a strong presence at away games, something that we strive for with the CMNT. So I guess Keegan is right about the RPB's bringing their Canadian banner to Montreal. Cheers!
JB_Tito
OK here is the deal with BIG BANNER,it is made to support CMNT and it is not RPB banner only. From RPB forum: quote:Well if they can help with the Big banner that would be amazing... also let them know it's not RPB's banner... It's for all Canadian Supporters as funds were donated from all Canadian Supporters so to me its the V's banner as well. Can you direct them to the thread were we have the design for the banner? All we need is one Huge warehouse to start painting... Like I wrote before RPB are trying to fix that banner to look more "Canadian". They have few ideas and this is one of them: Big warehouse is needed for painting ASAP,if you can to help here is the link, http://www.redpatchboys.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=5015

Mpenza
First off those papers were not placed by the Impact, but rather by the Ultras and secondly, the stand was 3/4 empty at the time we needed people to raise the papers and it looked like ****. This is why we're never doing that again. We lost money on this tifo...

I saw the paper on the seats when we walked around the stadium pre-game but it wasn't something that was all that noticeable come game time. For this sort of thing to work well you need an experienced, well rehearsed crew who have had lots of practice doing it well. For a one-off game with people coming from all over simple things like big flags and banners work a lot better. S.

Not true, buddy... All you need is people to show up on time and lift the darn papers when prompted. What went terribly wrong that time against TFC is that 1. the stand was 3/4 empty and 2. the announcer prompted people to lift their papers AFTER the tifo. We pulled it off in the past. The only difference this time around was that we worked with a design, instead of just filling sections up with either blue or white, and that took us longer to place than expected. We finished litterally a second before our time ran out and we had to leave the stadium. But we were ready to go. Sadly, it all went to hell because of things we could not control.
