theaub
It goes Home W / Draw / Away W...the lower the odds the better the chance of it occurring (according to the oddsmakers).
RJB
That is good value for a Guatemala win. Also, it's not unthinkable for Honduras to pull a draw in Mexico, so there are two bets that could make a fair bit of money.
theaub
I like the HON/MEX D, US/GUA D and T&T W to the bank.
Scottie
I think the real bargain is an El Salvador win. Guatemala are not going to beat the states. End of story.
Toronto Ruffrider
Those are decent odds. I think Canada's odds seem fair, especially since our game will be played on home soil. Canada's game aside, there is some decent money to be made by betting correctly. Guatemala sucks compared to the States, but playing at home may be enough to ensure Guatemala a draw. A Cuban victory is not a bad payoff either, as T&T has been anything but stellar in its qualifying campaign. Some odds definitely look tempting, but I would avoid buying into the odds with the greatest payout. Honduras is not going to win at Azteca. Also, although Costa Rica is a bit weaker than the last qualifying cycle, it should have what it takes to win its home fixture against El Salvador. Wednesday's match-ups will certainly be interesting. Bet the right wins and throw in a well-predicted draw, and the payout could be quite large. The Cuba/T&T match is also intriguing, as just about any scenario could unfold in that game. As tempting as a Hon/Mex draw is, however, I would avoid betting on it. Mexico will be on just as much pressure as anyone to win its home games, and Azteca is never an easy stadium for away teams to play in.

I have to believe that Mexico is at its weakest point since 1988, and Honduras has never been stronger. That line is fueled by European money that looks at history and hasn't factored in the present state of either side. Not that I'm predicting a Honduras win, or even a draw...but I'd definitely take either of those odds.

These numbers are for a straight bet--you're picking the result without handicap. So, if you pick Canada to win, and they do, you win $1.80 per dollar you bet. For example, a $100 bet would yield you a return of $180, or an $80 profit.
Keegan
I would take Suriname over Haiti. Or a draw in that match. Make some nice coin and Suriname isn't bad

Lastly, betting a 2-0 favourite win is usually good value. A $10 bet on Canada to win 2-0 would get you $75. Is Betfair offering in game wagering for the WCQers? Blue and White Army
8.50 for Honduras to win away at Mexico? If it wasn't at Azteca (e.g. Canada's match in Mexico will be down south), I might have fancied a flutter...
villus
My book has Canada at -120 for a win, so basically all the money has been coming in on Canada and the line has shifted to make us a pretty big favourite to get the win. I could'nt get into my book 2 days ago, and now the line is'nt as good for a wager but the betting public seems to believe we are big favorites here (smart public IMO)
