nolando
Just checked the standing and seven out of the league's 14 teams have only one win on the road, including division leaders RSL. I knew about TFC's famous home field advantage (and woes away), but is it common for this many teams to have trouble getting full points away? Are Salt Lake and Houston and New York fortresses to the same extent that BMO is?

The numbers show that the home team is slightly more successful in MLS this season compared to 2007. 2008 home teams: 63W, 35D, 29L = 1.72 pts/match 2007 home teams: 91W, 50D, 54L = 1.68 pts/match You might be interested how these numbers compare to other leagues played in large countries where there is a high amount of parity. Well, in Brasil: 2008 home teams: 97W, 43D, 30L = 1.89 pts/match 2007 home teams: 192W, 90D, 98L = 1.77 pts/match
