I am hoping this is a good omen that September 6th will be Montreal Honduran Massacre headlined by Honduran Memories of being Eliminated from the 2010 World Cup! Speedmonk will be with me and possibly Grizzly's brother (remember him from Kingston?) though I am leaning towards using the remaining two tickets for whatever busty babes I can convince, kidnap or pay to go to the game with me! 112: 113: 10 - Row 5, Seats ??? I hear, from speaking to people at the at recent TFC games, that there are many who will be there but are procrastinating in getting their tickets. Confidently that they will get tickets either way. But still, Putting aside the Can-Jam game, 300 is pretty damn good. Considering that we have been nowhere close to this in the past. In the past, 50-100 would have been considered great. Regardless the Impact are certainly not doing very much promotion of the game. I am sure the game will sellout but Impact promotion would help to ensure a better Canadian/Honduran ratio. So lets say half the season ticketholder ( worst case scenario) pick up tickets for this game on a presale, then along with the supporters section, you will have a favourable can/hon ratio. But if they just tell them you can go ahead and buy your tickets when they go on sale to the gen public, then it doesn't mean anything for the Can/Hon ratio. because the Hondurans are more likely to be eager and be the first in line. When this first came up, I warned the CSA that ticket sales would lag compared to Jamaica, simply because Jamaica is the initial contest, that is the primary focus of most fans. My initial request was that we have the sections reserved until September 1. Unfortunetly the Honduras match will be in the shadow of the Jamaica match, until August 21.
