mpok
setanta is unreasonably priced in my opinion, goltv is a much better channel for the price - and you can always watch for free online, canceling my cable this month, cbc is free to air and they show soccer

MLS, La Liga, Premiership, Serie "A", South American leagues...?? If you don't give a toss about the Premiership then, yes, Setanta is unreasonably priced. Online is free but it takes a good 5 hours to download an entire match, which kinda sucks unless the person is working during the days every weekend and would have to watch everything on tape anyway... mpok
i was talking about p2p live streaming - and even if you love English soccer, setanta is still unreasonably priced - i understand i'm naive, but why do fans have to pay for setanta overbidding to get the rights. I still look at the soccer as a right not a privilege

I still look at the soccer as a right not a privilege Good thing you weren't born 20 years earlier. Today, soccer fans in Canada and USA are extremely lucky to be able to watch more soccer than they really deserve (based on how little they've supported the sport). I still find p2p unreliable. Sometimes I use it to watch a mediocre match like Barca v Levante. But if its a big match, then I don't want to take the chance over the quality. For those reasons I think Setanta is well worth it. I would buy it in a heart-beat if my cable company offered it.
