Iqaluit gets tonight's game live

As does Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Yellowknife. Why does Sportsnet give the rest of the country baseball? I don't even think it is a Blue Jays game. I find it odd. Is baseball not as popular on the Prairies? Hopefully this crap won't happen in the next round; unfortunately, the World Series and MLB playoffs will be in full force.

If you have one of those digital boxes, you should be able to get all of the sportsnet channels. In my area, I see then on channel 74, 75, 76 while the regular sportsnet ontario is on channel 22.

The reason I mention this because I had this digital box for a long time before realizing I can get these other channels Most people just assume the programming is the same on all of them....not always.

Hey you forgot to mention Saskatoon in there! We get it live as well. Softball/slowpitch is actually very popular in Saskatchewan, moreso in Regina than here, so I'm surprised they gave us the live feed. I won't ruin everyone else's fun by reporting the score.

Sportsnet Ontario is channel 20 for me (22 is The Score) and 65,66,67 are the other Sportsnets. My cable company is a small local independent company. It is why my Cable Internet is so fast. Fewer connections to the LAN. It's pretty cool, I get the NFL Network and Teletoon Retro for free for having Digital Cable (along with the other Sportsnets and the TSN Alternate feed). I only have Digital Cable for Timeshifting and VOD Movies (so I don't have to go into the video store the next town over). 12 KM is a bit far to got to rent a movie that you then have to return. VOD is man's greatest invention other than condoms and birth control.

Guys, just call your cable company and order a digital box. It costs like $6 a month or something. Use it tonight to watch Canada live. Then return it in 30 days. $6 to watch the game live, not bad.

Carefull there:D. i did something similar with the Canada vs Estonia game. I ordered Setanta ( 14.99$ / mo ) just to see that game. The plan was to call and cancel the following day. Well, i never got around to cancelling it until last week. The combination of other interseting matches that catch my attention as well as procratination meant that it ended up costing me considerably more than just 14.99$.
