SthMelbRed
He was great for Valencia and Lazio but that was a long time ago. We'll have to wait and see if he's still got enough to dominate in a much inferior league to the ones where he's starred in the past. Does anybody know where he's been playing for the past few seasons after leaving Lazio?
nolando
from wikipedia "López joined Club América for the 2004 Apertura, where he played in 17 games, scoring four goals. The following season, Clausura 2005 brought better results, with López scoring a total of 14 goals overall and helping the team to its tenth League championship in its history. Claudio was instrumental to the team's success, also helping them win the CONCACAF Champions' Cup by scoring two goals in the Final over UAG Tecos. In 2007 El Piojo returned to the Argentine Racing Club de Avellaneda, 11 years after his departure from the club, and the country. In 17 games, usually coming in as a late sub, El Piojo has made 5 goals for Racing."
