jonovision
In a pre-season friendly, Olivier Occean was a starter and scored the first goal at 8 minutes as Lillestrom earned a 2-2 draw in a visit to Danish side AaB Aalborg. And in another Norway-Denmark clash, FC Copenhagen drew 2-2 with Viking FK, Atiba Hutchinson going 90 minutes in central midfield.

jpg75
He hit a couple of really good long balls/passes up to the target, and a few decent crosses. Saw him get beat by Faubert, but he professionally fouled his way out of that one.
Varsity Tyler
Going to agree that Stally's showing well so far. He's getting mentioned by the commentator quite a bit for a right back, but fortunately it's almost always when he's going forward. The foul on Faubert was tactful and didn't hurt his side. We'll see how his stamina allows him to show in the second half. He hasn't played a lot lately; here's hoping he wont lose that half step as the game continues. I'm happy with Fulham's general lack of imagination and finishing though. West Ham better pull this one off. Their injuries aren't an excuse, and Fulham should be beaten. Come on you Hammers! Lomonty
This is the exact type of team Paul should be playing for every games a scrappy must win to avoid relegation. I'm a Spurs fan and you knew when the C.L got on the radar Paul was gonna be outta favour.

jonovision
In more pre-season action, Issey Nakajima-Farran started and was subbed out at 60 minutes in his FC Nordsjaelland's 2-1 victory over Malmo of Sweden.
jonovision
Lars Hirschfeld's CFR Cluj have their first league match since the winter break today. CFR Cluj win 4-1, while their closest pursuer was beaten by the other Cluj side, giving CFR an 8 point lead at the top of the table.
SthMelbRed
nobody mentioned that Imhof played 90 in Bochum's 2-1 win over Hannover. Good result made better by the fact that Cherundolo scored an own goal for Hannover.
SCF08
Marcel de Jong starts for Roda JC away to Vitesse and Jacob Lensky is on the bench for Feyenoord away to Heracles. Lensky almost got a start today but someone else was preferred for now. Both games kick off in 30 minutes... Earlier today Robbie Giezen scored twice to gift FC Groningen U19s a 3-1 win. Not sure if Marcus Haber and Michael Nonni also featured..
trueviking
deisel got the highest 'player rating' for fulham on skysports...he warranted a 7 and the note 'good distribution'. it was nice to see him jump into the play as often as he did. jonovision
A big win for Deportivo who beat 6th place Espanyol 2-0. Julian De Guzman goes 90 minutes. Deportivo are still 3rd from the bottom of the table.
CDN4EVR
quote:Originally posted by Sigma Hainault stays on the bench tonight as Sparta defeat city 'rivals' Viktoria Zizkov 6-1. This is the second game in a row where the coach of Sparta did not make any changes in the back. I suspect he doesn't like to shake things up unless necessary. Simpson came on in the 76th minute as SIAD Most drew 1-1 at home against Sigma Olomouc. He picked up a yellow card in the 88th minute. Gimme a break...6-1 and they cant give my boy a few minutes on the field... He is soooo going to be at the olypic quals.... I hope.
Guest Jeffery S.
Aguiar came on with 20 left, got a yellow, and Gondomar drew Fatima 1-1 in the Liga Vitalis. Still lower table in Portugal. On Depor: big win over Espanyol, even though they remain the worst team at home in La Liga. And still in relegation as the other teams fighting it out with them to avoid relegation picked up points. I think they will pull it out though, only a bit frustrating to see yourself playing better, getting more points, but still in a relegation spot. George
Xanthi tied 1-1. Radz didn't score but he created a lot of chances for his teammates and even had a nice shot that went over the bar in the 2nd half.
