Guest Ed
Honoured over the weekend in Spain. Jeffrey, there are 2 DiStefano kids in my bailiwick. Coached one at U8 or so. And they are both big time into soccer. I wonder?
Guest Jeffery S.
DiStefano is always honoured here. I think deservedly. He is very even keel when he speaks and is very dignified, so perfectly respectful and deserving of any honour that comes his way. Odd though that after so many years in Spain his Argentine accent is still so strong, I frankly have a lot of problems understanding him at times. But even Messi, who arrived at the age of 12, has a terribly thick Argie accent.
Bxl Boy
Was there a special reason to honour him precisely this week-end ? (I mean, some anniversary or so) or was the date radomly chosen ?
beachesl
I think Real was opening a new practice facility, and the statue of him was unveiled there.
