pulsar
Shot in the dark but are any euro based voyageurs or anyone heading up to estonia for the match?

Saviola7
I'm thinking about it, but I should have a 1 1/2 month old at that point. My wife insists that if I go, I take them with me ...
Guest Jeffery S.
I just thought it would be impossibly expensive, though it is only 310 Euros Barcelona-Tallin. Though the flight is long, with a stopover at least 6 hours in total, meaning flying in one morning, match, and flying back the next day. But not bad and must admit I am surprised, especially by the price. In any case I can't take those days off, busy week for me. Am I right in assuming that the schedule of WC qualifying semis will not be worked out until after the St. Vicent matches, meaning with only a month and a half lead time? So we won't know anything about where or who for August 20 until early July maybe?
tarnado1555362291
Other than the silly name "Le Coq Arena" in Tallin looks like a pretty nice stadium for a capacity of 9300. http://www.chrisjonasphotos.com/photo_1156913.html http://www.fsf.org.uk/freelions/euro/Tallinn/the-stadium.php (away fan seating and stadium diagram) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A._Le_Coq_Arena

I am hoping to be in Van most of July and August, if that is what you are referring to, so the best that could happen would be to see that August 20 at home and at Swangard. Which I don't think is going to happen.
ballboy
Would be intersted in investigating the possibility for heading into that game. For those who had previously watched the Boys playing Away, just a question: do you guys have any ways of ensuring that most the Canadian supporters will be sitting in close proximity? Saviola7
Close proximity to each other or to the pitch? In either event, most of the places we play are far from sold out (Iceland, Hungary, Luxembourg) but sometimes we contact their supporters association and see if there is a particular section we should look out for. Varsity Tyler
Gonna bump this one more time. Has anybody other than myself made travel plans for this one? It would be awesome to meet up with some other Canucks when we take Tallinn by storm ; ) ... I'm getting into Tallinn on the Monday after a bit of a party weekend in Slovenia. I'll be staying until Friday morning. Ballboy, I don't know if you remember, but we met at Carleton in Ottawa watching the boys train a few years back. We bumped into each other again at the Kingston World Cup Qualifiers. Think you're going to make Tallinn? edit: pic removed for space ...

Martyr
I don't think I'm going to be able to swing it, but in case anyone else in London (or travelling through London) is looking to go to Tallinn, the cheapest flight I can find is with Easyjet. Leaving Wednesday morning from Stanstead and returning noon Estonia time on Thursday; cost - is £95.98 inc. tax and airport fees (about $CA 190 or 128 Euro). Estonia Air flys out of Gatwick but it's about £40 more - so you could fly into Gatwick with Flyzoom if coming from Canada and then switch to the Tallinn flight. Looks like you can get a hotel room in Tallinn for one night for about £20 to £30 with breakfast quite easily as well. http://tinyurl.com/22lv3c If anyone needs advice regarding Transit in London (ie getting to or from Stanstead or Gatwick) I'd be happy to provide it. My email address is under my profile. Marty
Daniel
There are probably some cheaper hostels.
Martyr
^You're right. As low as £8.00. Here is the link: http://www.hostels.com/en/findabed.php?ChosenCity=Tallinn&ChosenCountry=Estonia
Guest Jeffery S.
After our glorious win any Canada boy in Tallin is going to be badass and those hot Estonian babes are going to be falling all over you. So better pass on those 8 pound hostals. Gotta go for at least 20 or they'll be disappointed.
ballboy
Tyler... ...of course I remember the Kingston encounter and the great atmosphere during the 2 games against Belize! Still not sure about my plans though. It all depends on the costs of heading to the Baltics from Hong Kong, as well as work commitments.
