VPjr
Steve Goff is reporting that Eddie J is close to being on his way to Craven Cottage to join Team America (AKA Fulham) Compared to the option of joining Derby, this is not bad but he's still risking relegation. here's the link: http://blog.washingtonpost.com/soccerinsider/2008/01/breaking_news_and_other_news.html

Soju
Even last season I knew we were going to stay up but this season...Eddie Johnson is not enough I'm really worried about Fulham's future

Crazy_Yank
Granted it's not saying much, but Johnson is better than any of Fulham's current strikers. Leading scorer Clint Dempsey is not a striker. He's best as a right mid or a withdrawn forward/attacking midfielder. Maybe he can finally move back to the midfield. Fort York Redcoat1555362293
i think this is a great move. He gets to play in the top level for half a season and they have a great chance to impress next year getting promoted and scouted to move to competitive side int he Premiership. Blue and White Army
Don't worry, Soju, Fulham will sign enough Americans and/or Watford players until they're assured of staying up.
Soju
Al Fayed is likely too concerned with the Diana inquiry to give a sh1t.
Bertuzzi44
$3.2 million? Nice. So how much of that will KC see? Is this the biggest transfer in MLS history? How much did NY Metro Stars get from Man Utd for Howard?

How much did NY Metro Stars get from Man Utd for Howard? It's not even the biggest transfer for an MLS player going to Fulham. Clint Dempsey was transferred for $4 million last year. I believe Tim Howard was roughly the same price.
Crazy_Yank
KC gets to keep 2/3rds. They'll have plenty of cash to replace him.
