royalcity
Looks like Newcastle is rebuilding again. Sam Allardyce is gone by mutual consent. I hope David Edgar's loan doesn't get lost in the shuffle. http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,2238022,00.html
VPjr
i'll never understand how quick clubs are prepared to pull the trigger on their coaches.
Soju
I hate how quickly managers are turned over these days it's a joke

Cheeta
Some of them at least. I'm not surprised when a BoD gets pissed with a manager who apes the old line about needing to build his squad, spends a trunk full of cash on bringing in his players and ends up no further ahead then the last manager was. Have way more patience with a manager who's been afforded fewer buying options to turn a club around. Anyway, I don't think this is going to help Edgar's year out any but you never know how things will turn out sometimes until they turn out. amacpher
At this point, its not like Newcastle has any hope of qualifying for the Champions League. And there is no real danger of them being relegated. So why not let Big Sam finish the season??
RJB
Newcastle have been through way too many managers of late. There comes a time when people need to blame the Board for a poor hire if they are going to fire someone after only eight months. Who's left to coach them? We can't forget that Newcastle is a huge club, and they should be challenging for a Champions League spot. That said, they are a terrible team right now. Desigol
Toon Fnas are still living in the Keegan era. Their club needs more stability and focus more on bringing in young English talent; which will benefit the England team; rather tahn spending Money on Second Rate foreigners like there's no Tomorrow. Even Edgar's furtue at the club may be under threat if they keep ignoring the Youngsters. For example, Michael Carrick was Newcastle born and bred but had to join West Ham as Newcastle had no reserve team at the time.
