Cooks
Pardon the spelling of the word "Villains." That was Dave R. and I'm too lazy to fix it.

Cooks
That Saskatoon Roster is from last year.
Shootmaster_44
Apparently Saskatoon announced their roster on Wednesday according to the freelance local soccer columnist. But since his column is run on Tuesdays and the Accelerators have not updated their website, its anyone's guess who is actually on the team. Though I'm guessing the large majority of the roster above is likely the roster this year. I'd assume there would be a couple imports on the team. I've read that two players from Edmonton tried out for the team after being "excluded" from the Drillers. (There was a big drama about this on another board.) I would also think that the Accelerators would have brought in a player or two with MISL/NPSL experience. The Showcase Series squad did not look overly impressive aside from Nikola Vignjevic (who was borrowed from the Drillers), who has a wealth of pro experience. I'd guess they would've brought someone in to compliment the team like him. But I'm guessing the first time we'll see an accurate roster is from those who attend the first exhibition game in St. Albert.
Shootmaster_44
I found the Accelerator's roster on their official Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5610404586). quote:1. Tomchuk, O'Hare, McAllister, Schidolwsky, Ferridge all ex/currents Huskie, Bahia ex-Huskie current Dino (I think). Collins and Bacheleu, along with Kothius, ex of the U of A. Probably a few more with those links that I do not recognize. Looft plays in the Senior Men's Provincial League.

Compared to the other rosters, will Edmonton simply run away with the league as they have true professionals on their roster or are these players good enough to compete with them? charlie brown
Edmonton will not run away with this league, Calgary will win it. I think Edmonton will be lucky to win even one game. By looking at their roster, they won't be a strong side.

matthew
quote:Originally posted by Shootmaster_44 These names largely mean nothing to me, but it is nice to finally see a roster. Kevin Murphy had a strong Canada Games in 05 as a hard-working midfielder who could score. He got a call for a U20 camp at some point in the early run up to 2007. Thanks for the rosters. I totally forgot this was happening . . . cheers, matthew
Shootmaster_44
Has anybody heard anything out of the Winnipeg Alliance regarding a roster? I realize there won't be much coming out of them as far as news since they are a road-only team.
