Grizzly
49 km would certainly be extreme but according to the MLS website the Dallas stadium is 30 km from downtown Dallas. It is also located in a very affluent suburb which has a population of around 100 000.
Loud Mouth Soup
The Dallas suburb is quite affluent, growing rapidly, and would be comparable to York Region to Toronto. /brother lives there

Grizzly
quote:Originally posted by Free kick 49 km = 30 Miles Oops, you are right. Sometimes one makes the error of thinking the US is in the same century as the rest of the world.
amacpher
quote:Originally posted by CanadianSwede Talk about a journey everytime you want to see FC Dallas play.. Although Dallas stadium might be the furthest from downtown I bet its still quicker, on average, than going to and from Giants Stadium. Everything being equal, I have no doubt New York would blow every other MLS team out of the water in terms of attendance! The fact their attendance is terrible illustrates what a nightmare it is to get to the stadium.
