Brandon Bonifacio played the full 90 minutes again for Cambuur Leeuwarden who drew 1-1 at home against BV Veendam. Cambuur will be disappointed as they created a huge amount of chances and really should have won. I can probably get some highlights of the game later , and will post when I see them. Dont know how Bonifacio's performance was.

Here are the higlights. You dont see Bonifacio very often though (rarely). He plays for the yellows and wears number 23 (defensive mid)

Saturday :

Michael Nonni scored for FC Groningen U19s in a 4-1 away loss against rivals Heerenveen U19s. Marcus Haber and Robbie Giezen also featured.

Marcel de Jong starts from the bench for Roda JC at home to Vitesse. Final result is 3-2 (De Jong stays on the bench)

Will Johnson also starts from the bench for De Graafschap at home to PSV. This match will be broadcasted here and chances are pretty big that Johnson will make some minutes in the 2nd half....Kick off is in 25 minutes

EDIT :

Will Johnson has just come on in the 77th minute with De Graafschap 0-1 behind. They are playing wonderful football though and dont deserve to be losing against PSV. PSV have just had a man sent off as well. Wonder what Johnson can bring....

In the end nothing changes and PSV take a 0-1 victory. Johnson got one good cross in and had a terrible volley which is probably still heading into the direction of the moon :D

Harmse goes the first 45 minutes and Jazic the full 90 as the Galaxy beat up on the Phoenix 4-1 in a friendly in Wellington.

I was quite happy to see a few Canadians being so far from home.

Thought Jazic played a good game going forward with the ball and getting involved with the offence, pretty solid in the back, not sure how he usually plays

In the 45 minutes of this friendly did Harmse try to scythe anyone in half or stomp on anyone's arm?

Actually he did lol, there was a small skirmish involving Harmse, and the kiwi fans where all saying dirty Yanks, I thought that was funny

The attendance was a New Zealand record 32,000 for a soccer match, not bad.

Also I was sitting front row by the tunnel were they come out, and had my Canadian flag hanging from the railing, when they were walking off at half Harmse and Jazic where together and both looked up and gave a smile and nod.

Jackson plays 65 minutes before being subbed out as R&D get dumped out of the FA cup in a 5-1 loss to Bristol Rovers. Sounds like Jackson has a couple chances.

The Rushden goal was absolutely crazy... I saw it yesterday on the BBC. Some guy crossed it from 40 metres out and the wind took it all the way into the goal...:D

Harmse in qualifying would be a red card waiting to happen, he's not a discrete **** disturber. He'd make a terrible foul, which would be followed by 10 (insert nationality here) running over to the ref and demanding a red card while the other guy would be rolling around on the ground. Asides from that, LA probably has one of the worst defenses in MLS, they get counter attacked so hard it's not even funny. Harmse can foul, but not at the oppurtune time it seems to stop the counter.

Jonathan de Guzman played the full 90 minutes for Feyenoord in a 6-0 home win against Heracles. The weather conditions were terrible but Feyenoord gave away a great show. De Guzman was one of 6 home grown players on the pitch and gave the assist for the 5-0 of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

De Guzman was also closely involved in 2 other goals....

Pass to the winger...

Nice lay down with the chest to Roy Makaay who sets up 17 year old superkid Georginio Wijnaldum.

With the referee we had in the recent SA match, can you imagine if we had both Harmse AND Serioux out on the field during that game?
