Here is an exmaple of the way Sam's Army organises itself for a home game. Important to note are the ticketing connections. They have obviously established a direct medium through the USSF and TicketMaster allowing them to effectively control the supporters section. I also like how they provide resources and guidelines that make things easy for travelling supporters. The Voyageurs should definitely be undertaking similar steps for ticketing, and making similar information and guidelines available at canadian-soccer.com come WCQ

What:

Request from the SoCal Brigade:

Please do not bring drums, horns or other noise makers. The SoCal

Brigade will have two or three drums to help keep the section in rhythm

- that's enough. We stand and sing the whole game and respond to what is

going on down on the pitch.

Ticket Info:

Sam's Army will be sitting in section 138 in the southeast corner of the stadium.

For purchases of less than 20 tickets, fans must order through Ticket Master by making their request in the "U.S. Organized Supporter Endline Section" portion of the order page and entering the word RED in the corresponding password box.

For purchases of 20 tickets or more, fans can use the group order form posted at US Soccer for this game. The purchaser must indicate on the form that they wish to be seated in the U.S. Supporters' Section in order to be accommodated.

Tailgate Info:

Tailgate Saturday 3:00 until 4:45

Tailgate is in Lot 13

Enter Stadium from Avalon Street

Turn left (They don't give you a choice)

Follow road around the stadium until you see Lot 13

Go away from the stadium through Lot 13 to the grass strip by Victoria Street

Find the people parked directly across from the large Home Depot Sign on the Stadium

March into the Stadium at 4:45

Notes

The pub (Grunions) was chosen first, and then the hotel. It's easy

walking distance from the hotel to the pub and a reasonable walk to the

beach. Manhattan Beach is a good neighborhood between LAX and the

stadium. Its not walking distance to the stadium as the stadium is not

in a good neighborhood.

We can't have grills at the HDC as its on a university campus, so we go

to a nearby park first for a picnic, then hang out in the parking lot

for a while before the game.
