Desigol
is some Team Bonding exercises. Canada has some good individuals, but teams win matches. Maybe the fact that Canadian players play in so many Countries is a hinderance. Maybe if Monteal and Vancouver followed Toronto's lead and join MLS then things may change. CanadasBest
quote:Originally posted by speedmonk42 Lets start with that one where everybody falls backwards and their buddies catch them.... They tried once. Hirshfeld ended up getting vertigo and didn't play for us for over a year. Seriously though you'd think they would do some team bonding when they gather before games. Although on Tuesday it looked like the whole team went out drinking before the match! I think a sports psychologist would be a fantastic idea for both the men's and women's senior team. But really, we don't have the funding for that.

Toronto leads... we in Vancouver and Montreal follow? ... errr, I'll leave that one alone. But anyways I think most if not all Vancouver and Montreal Vee's would love MLS franchises in their respective cities.

Wasn't there a comment during the commentary the other day about how the players might have partied a little too hard the night before the match? Soju
If the coaching staff let them out to party, OK I'm going to say it...I miss Holger.

Desigol
Okay, what I meant was activities like Paintballing. NI, Greece and Scotland have shown that Club counts for nothing in International games. If Canada can get a Coach that's visionary and will make the team play for the Shirt then Canada could be on to something. 7 Years ago I suggested Terry Vennables because he did the Donkey work in Australia that bore fruit under Hiddink. Well, now's the chance.
