hamiltonfan
Statement of CPSL, Vincent Ursini and Harry Gauss The CPSL, Vincent Ursini and Harry Gauss, acknowledge that Omur Sezerman has passionately dedicated himself to the development of soccer in Ottawa and Canada, resulting in the construction of world-class facilities, exposing youth in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario to a level of soccer never experienced before, and establishing the Ottawa Wizards - a franchise dedicated to excellence. In 2003 – 2004, a dispute arose within the CPSL. A number of articles were published referencing comments about Mr. Sezerman. To the extent the comments have been interpreted by some in a manner that would reflect negatively on the character and integrity of Mr. Sezerman, this was not the intention of the CPSL, Mr. Ursini, or Mr. Gauss. ------------------- sezerman planning to sue?? seems a bit odd they would release this statement if not. MM2
quote:Originally posted by hamiltonfan sezerman planning to sue?? seems a bit odd they would release this statement if not. More likely part of a settlement, where one party issues a statement saying how wonderful the other party is. And if it paves he way for an Ottawa team to re-join the CSL that would be great. Correct MM2 - One part settled one part go from my understanding of course that does not include lawsuit(s) involving local district association...
