SCF08
In Holland : Jonathan de Guzman played the full 90 mins for Feyenoord in a 2-0 home win against Heerenveen. De Guzman gave a cross from a quickly taken corner by himself and Van Bronckhorst headed it back into the centre which gave Hofs an easy finish for the 2-0 just before the 30th minute. Heerenveen were the stronger side in the second half by bringing on Brazilian national team regular Afonso Alves but it didnt lead to big opportunities. Marcel de Jong played 83 minutes for Roda JC in an embarassing 3-3 home draw against Excelsior. Roda came 3-0 up just after half-time and hit the post twice after that and should have been 6-0 up , but they then completely lost it and showed a terrible lack of concentration. At 3-2 De Jong was subbed to waste some time just before the end of the game but it didnt help as Excelsior equalised in stoppage time. And in Belgium : Michael Klukowski played the full 90 minutes for Club Brugge who won 1-0 at home against Excelsior Moeskroen.

Guest Jeffery S.
quote:Originally posted by Jamit Julian de Guzman went the full 90. But Deportivo La Coruña lost 1-0. Depor totally dominated, Espanyol stunk, but got the Tamudo goal and the win. Depor has this little problem called putting them away, Julian put in someone (Lafita?) all alone on the keeper with a fine pass and he squandered it wide. Depor probably had the easiest schedule of any Primera Division club and they are 3rd from bottom. If you are only getting 5 points out of these matches than it has relegation written all over it. Even after 6 games... Home : Almeria , Betis , Recreativo Away : Valladolid , Getafe , Espanyol And their next 3 fixtures are against Sevilla , Valencia and Real Madrid... SCF08
Jacob Lensky scored yesterday for the Feyenoord reserves. He curled in a good shot from 16 meters. He played as a left winger in the first half and in the second half he played as a central midfielder. Korean player Chun Soo Lee took his spot at left wing. The final result was a 1-3 victory for Feyenoord reserves and Lensky got the 1-1. And Paul Stalteri wasnt selected again for the Tottenham squad and had to watch a great match from the stands. Spurs went down 1-4 at home to Aston Villa but came back to 4-4.
