There are stil 20 mins to play. I will edit my post if he comes on. EDIT : Will came on for the final 2 minutes (+5 extra). Didnt get 3 touches on the ball but De Graafschap did manage to extend their lead to 0-2 in a counter attack.

jpg75
McKenna must be hurt, he's not on the game sheet for Koln. They won 2-1 at Koblenz. Noticed Honduran national Maynor Suazo, the cousin of David Suazo played for Koln. Bernier was back in action and saw 90 minute of PT. FCK lost 1-0 at Freiburg. No Edgar for Newcastle and no Stalteri for Spurs today. Feyenoord are getting slapped around 3-0 late in the game at PSV Eindhoven. Jonathan De Guzman started and has not been subbed out. Jonathan De Guzman started and has not been subbed out. Yep it was quite painful for me to watch..[V] It ended in 4-0 PSV probably played the best first half of the last 3 years against us and scored 2 amazing goals and a sloppy/lucky 3rd. De Guzman was the only player on the Feyenoord side who had a good game and he came close to scoring twice. He had a great free-kick saved by the fingertips of the goalkeeper and he could just divert it onto the post. Nevertheless a good start to the season with 4 wins and 1 loss and Guzzie's 3 goals in 4 games.

Guest Jeffery S.
quote:Originally posted by loyola DeGuzman on the bench in Deportivo 0-0 with Getafe. Why is he not playing after his excellent second half of the season last year? You just beat me to it, and you're right. The team is mired in mediocrity and the press reports say they did very little, accusing them of catenaccio tactics. Much the same as last year, no goals to be seen, all hope in a holding defence. 5 points on a win and two draws in four games, so at least they are going to be tough to beat this year. Wow...that's a low blow...There isn't anything worse than being accused of employing catenaccio tactics, especially in Spain. Deportivo was painful to watch a the best of times last year. I've not seen them play live yet this year but from the sounds of it, nothing has changed.

Why is he not playing after his excellent second half of the season last year? He hasn't started since the first game of the year, a pathetic 3-0 loss at home to promoted side Almeria. I'm going to assume it has something to do with his performance that match. He was relegated to a sub role the next 2 games and this is the first time he hasn't made it onto the field at all...
