JamesW
quote:Originally posted by Winnipeg Fury In MLS action yesterday, Houston beat the Galaxy 3-1. Just saw the highlights for that game on MLSnet.com and I don't know if I have ever heard worse play-by-play guys. On the penelty that led to DeRo's goal the guy was just rambling on, completly oblivious to the fact a penalty had just been given! And I think (not sure if I heard it right) the third goal was credited to DeRo by the play-by-play guy.

Guest Jeffery S.
On the weekend Aguiar played 90 as Gondomar got their first points from a scoreless draw, vs. Portimonense (is that the team from infamous Portimao, where Madeleine 'got lost'?). JamesW
quote:Originally posted by Sigma He spots Forest a 1-0 lead in the first minute of the game tonight. Apparently the keeper for Forest scored. Is that normal? Isn't this guy the former manager of Forest? Maybe he wants to get back in a few people's good books? loyola
quote:Originally posted by Sigma Hume has started for Leicester City away to Nottingham Forest in a 2nd round League Cup match. The game is being replayed after the match on August 28th was abandoned because of a player (Clarke) collapsed at the half. At the time, Forest were leading 1-0. So, what does the new coach (Megson) of Leicester do tonight? He spots Forest a 1-0 lead in the first minute of the game tonight. Apparently the keeper for Forest scored. The game is currently 1-1 at the half. Wow, first time I hear about something like that. I think that's great sportsmanship by Leicester. In Conference play, Simeon Jackson scored for R&D and it's 1-1 at the half.

Start fan in exile
Olivier Occéan and Lillestrøm slipped up badly, losing 3-0 to Tromsø at home on Sunday. They may be out of the title hunt now, as league-leading Brann won and have a 6 point lead with 6 to play. Stephen Ademolu was back on the bench after his injury but did not play for Tromsø Kevin De Serpa came on in the 87th minute as Mandalskameratene won their 2nd in a row, 3-0 over Løv-Ham. Probably too little, too late for MK who are still last in Adeccoligaen. Felix Brilliant was on the bench as Sparta Sarpsborg lost 3-2 at home to Moss. Sandro Grande is still not back for Molde who won again to consilidate their lead in Adeccoligaen.
